Different Ways of Installing Hair Extensions
There are 4 ways of installing hair extension that are common among hair stylist. Thos 4 ways are explained below.
Clip In Hair Extensions
Clip in hair extensions will damage your hair the least of all the hair extensions. Clip in hair extensions are an easy way of adding texture, length and volume. You can apply these extensions by separating your hair, and then you can simply clip in the extensions to your own hair, starting from the nape of your neck and working your way up your head. You just open the clips and then snap them into place. How much you put in totally depends on the what look you are going for, but because they are so easy to install you can give it a few tries till you like what you end up with. To get the best result you should style your own hair and the hair extensions separately.

Bonding Weaves
Bonding weaves are installed by cutting a length of hair to fit the shape of your head. You can then part your hair and then glue the extension in just below the part. This form of extension can be achieved at home with relative easy. The glue can be bought at any good hair and wig store. The removal can also be done at home; you can buy the removal serum from the store. So make sure that you have the removal serum before you attempt to install this type of extension because it will be the only way that you will be able to remove the extension with out doing serious damage to your hair.
Bonding or Sealing
This way of installing hair extensions is were you plaited the human hair extensions into your real hair, theses plaits are then painted with a bonding solution, this will seal the extension around the hair. This form of installing hair extensions can last for up to four months, after around four months the bonds holding the hair together will start to loosen. This type of installation must be done by a professional; if you try to do it yourself you may happen to damage your hair. You will also need to get a professional to take out the extensions for the same reason. As with the getting them installed the removal of the extensions should only be done by a professional if it is not done by a professional the process can damage your hair very badly.

The last way to install hair extensions is the fusion method this lesser know method needs to be installed by a professional. The fusion method is achieved by getting 20-50 strands of the hair extension have a warmed protein glue on them and then a plastic template to separate the sections of the hair, keeping it away from your scalp. Then each section of the hair extension is glued to your hair and then the glued together sections of hair and hair extension are pulled through holes on the plastic template. You should put your hair into rollers to ensure a smooth bond is formed.
